Do you have to be a patient to do other services, such as acupuncture, massage, saunas?

No, anyone can schedule any of our services.

Do you take insurance?

Yes. We are providers on most every insurance plan available in the area. Some of the most common are: Humana PPO, EPO, POS, HMO, ChoicePlus, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, PHCS, United Health Care & Great West. If your insurance is not listed please feel free to call and ask if we are a preferred providers with your insurance. If you have an HMO, you may require a referral from your PCP you will need to have that done before your first appointment with us.

Please contact our office at 512.363.5178 for instructions on how to complete new patient forms prior to your visit. Please come in about 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment if you choose to fill out the paperwork in the office. The chiropractic assistant (CA) will make a copy of your driver’s license and insurance card if you are choosing to use insurance. The CA will prepare your file for the doctor.

Do I need to have insurance to utilize your services?

Absolutely not! Many of our patients pay out of pocket (cash) for our services. We have a wide variety of payment plans available and want chiropractic care to be available to anyone who needs it! Our #1 goal is to provide you the care you need to stay healthy.

How much is it going to cost?

The doctor won’t know until they have had time to review your case. However, consultations are free, any exams or x-rays are subject to a fee. The most common costs for services are $55-73 for adjustments and $70-150 for exams.

How long will the visit take?

The first visit typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Do you treat babies/children?

Yes, both doctors treat infants and children. Learn more.

Do I get adjusted on the first visit?

The doctors will determine treatment after reviewing your history and we always aim to relieve any discomfort you are in. This can include therapy and/or an adjustment on the first visit, per the doctor’s discretion.

Does it hurt?

No, our doctors are very gentle and will take great care of you.

Do you take x-rays?

Depending on your health history the Doctor of Chiropractic will decide if x-rays are necessary. If you already have x-rays (actual films) or MRI (imaging reports) please bring them with you to your appointment.

Depending on your health care needs the next steps for chiropractic care will include:

  • Nervous system analysis by the Insight Subluxations Station (the latest technology available to measure nervous system dysfunction)
  • Health history, complaint review, and consultations to determine if chiropractic treatment is necessary for you
  • X-rays if determined necessary by the doctor
  • Physiotherapy to reduce your pain levels
  • Chiropractic exam performed by the doctor
  • Any treatment determined necessary by the doctor
  • A follow-up visit if the doctor needs to review x-rays with you, discuss your nervous system scan and any suggested treatment plan to address your health care needs

How to schedule your appointment

Booking time

All sessions, treatments or service times include consultation and/or assessment procedures. All indicated times are booking times, not specific treatment time.

Arrival time

Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time, you may need to fill out paperwork. Arriving late cheats you out of valuable treatment time. If you are late, your treatment will still end on time in consideration of the next client.

Late arrivals

Arriving late cuts into precious treatment time. If you arrive late, your treatment will still end on time in consideration of the next client. We are usually able to accommodate an arrival of up to 15 ­minutes late for longer services (like a one hour massage)  and less than 10 minute for shorter services like wellness adjustments, and will complete the service with the allotted time left.  If you miss your scheduled time slot we will do our best to work you in but will have to have respect for patients scheduled.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We know life gets busy and unexpected things happen, should you need to cancel your scheduled treatment be sure to give us a 24 ­hour notice, otherwise you will be charged a flat fee of $40. All “no show” and same day scheduled appointments are also subject to a $40 fee.

Talk to your technician or doctor

It is important to be open with the person who is giving your massage, adjustment, acupuncture or other treatment. Discuss sensitives, injuries, and chronic problems that can be addressed through your treatment. If you have health concerns, it is a good idea to discuss them with your doctor and with the wellness staff while scheduling your appointment.

Cellular devices

In consideration of our clients, we ask you please silence or turn off your cellular device upon arrival.

Gratuity

We know you want to show appreciation for the quality service provided. Gratuities are not included in the price of our services, but are gladly accepted. Typically gratuities range from 15-­20% of the service price, or larger if you experienced exceptional service. You may give your tip in cash or credit card at check out.

Payment & Return Policy

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX). We also have in financing options thrpough Care Credit. Prices do not include gratuities. Prices are subject to change without notice. Unused and unopened items may be returned within 14 days of the original purchase for a credit.  We will not accept returns for any opened products or supplements.
